The Net Zero Arena is a game-changer for the way we think about buildings. Our partner, Modern Niagara, installed nine energy-saving measures that have enabled our arena to produce as much energy as it uses. Utilizing these efficient techniques, the arena is now able to operate at a net zero energy level. AMPED is the first Zero Carbon Building – Performance Certified Arena under the Canada Green Building Council’s Zero Carbon Building Standard Program. Implementing innovative and effective measures to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions is essential to mitigate the impact of climate change.
Modern Niagara is proud to be a multi-disciplinary contractor providing mechanical, electrical, building control, and building services.
